For the past 10 years JP Marshall Engineering has been manufacturing and fitting ROPS and COPS (Cabin Operator Protection Structure) to mobile mechanical plant, including road rollers, bulldozers, wheel loaders and excavators. Our customers include major equipment suppliers civil contractors and hire companies.

We have a large database of designs, which are regularly added to by using the services of  Randall and Associates, a leader in the field of ROPS and COPS designs.

Our structures are fitted to machinery produced by the world’s leading manufacturers including, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Hyundai, Komatsu, Kobelco, Sakai and Sumitomo etc.

ROPS can be fitted at our Hamilton workshop or on location in Auckland or the greater Waikato region. Fitting advice can also be provided to those located further afield.

Our frames manufactured from box section RHS, feature formed corners rather than square or mitre cut corners. This feature gives the ROPS frame a more modern appearance to blend with the latest machine designs.

Our COPS frames feature solid plate profiles and are profiled to fit neatly to the cab shapes whilst giving optimum viewing through the cab front window. Our COPS frames also feature FOPS (falling object protection) and OPS (operator protection).
